Know those friends you just can’t do without? The family members who come to your aid? The Checkers organization has been just that for GoJenGo the past three years, pledging money and support through their Pink in the Rink event. We just wouldn’t be where we are without them.
So, get your running gear out and prepare to support those who support us! The Charlotte Checkers 5k Run & Walk is scheduled for November 29th. Join us on a certified 5k course through downtown or a 1 mile kids fun run. Chubby and the Checkmates will be on hand to cheer you on and you will be supporting the Checkers Charitable Foundation who supports us! There will be an after party sponsored by Bud Light and there will be snacks, drinks, and music. Just consider it a warm up for the RunJenRun coming March 7th! Don’t miss an opportunity to support the Checkers, support the Charlotte community, support those in need, and support GoJenGo! We are all in this together!
